VOCIC U31 3-in-1 Wheelchair vs. Scleroderma & Pulmonary Hypertension

Living with scleroderma and pulmonary hypertension, Connie's mobility is significantly impacted, making even short walks a challenge.

Simple tasks like shopping or attending family gatherings became difficult and exhausting. With her condition, walking any distance without assistance is nearly impossible, and she needed something that would help her maintain her independence without compromising comfort.

She found the VOCIC brand while searching for lightweight mobility aids online. After browsing through multiple options, the U31 manual wheelchair caught her eye.

“Great reviews, lightweight, and priced right,” she says. The product's features, combined with VOCIC's reputation for quality, made it an easy choice for her. “I can’t get around well, and my sister, who helps me, hates shopping,” she laughs, explaining why she chose to shop online. For Connie, the convenience of having the product delivered to her door was a huge benefit.

Life with the U31 Wheelchair

Though Connie hasn’t yet had the chance to use her new mobility scooter extensively, she’s already looking forward to the freedom it will bring. "I will be able to do so much more with my family without slowing them down," she says. Connie’s upcoming cruise in February will be the first real test of her new chair, as she hopes to use it during the trip to ensure she can keep up with her loved ones without the physical limitations that often hold her back. “I can’t be out in the cold much, so I haven’t been going many places yet,” she shares. But she’s eager to see how the wheelchair enhances her travel experience.

Connie’s Favorite Features of the U31 Wheelchair

While she hasn’t fully used the U31 yet, Connie is already impressed with some key features of the wheelchair. “It appears to be comfortable. It’s easy to fold, and it looks very sturdy.” The lightweight design and foldability are particularly important for her, as they make traveling easier. “I love how compact it is. I’ll be able to store it in the car when we travel,” she explains. Although Connie hasn’t yet had the chance to test every feature, the initial impressions are positive.

Customer Service and Packaging

Connie’s experience with VOCIC’s customer service was another highlight. After accidentally placing two orders, she reached out to the support team. “Excellent,’’ she says. “I got confused with ordering and ended up with two. I’ve been emailing with Lynn (I think that’s her name), and she has been very kind.” She was impressed with how quickly and courteously the team resolved her issue. As for delivery, Connie was happy with the service. “Packaging was secure, and delivery was on time,” she confirms.
