Strength to Carry On: Mark Frailey's Story with the AY06 Lift

Caring for a loved one who has lost mobility is one of life's most profound challenges. For Mark Frailey, this became his daily reality when his wife reached a point where she could no longer transfer herself. Simple acts like getting in and out of a car became monumental obstacles. "I was lifting her and transferring her into a car - the hardest lift - and I was beginning to suffer as a result," Mark recalled. The physical strain was taking its toll on his back, and failed lift attempts sometimes ended with calls to EMS for assistance.

The emotional weight was equally heavy. Each transfer became a source of anxiety for both Mark and his wife, until they discovered the VOCIC AY06 Electric Lift. "We found this lift and it has saved my back and the frequent EMS calls for lift assist," Mark noted gratefully.

The AY06 has transformed their daily routine. They now use it throughout their home and particularly for car transfers, which were previously the most challenging task. The lift's smooth electric operation, adjustable height, and secure seat belt have brought newfound security to their lives. Mark's wife feels more comfortable during transfers, and Mark can focus on supporting her emotionally rather than worrying about physical strain.

What Mark appreciates most is the lift's reliability and ease of use. The intuitive hand controller and dependable battery performance have made the AY06 an indispensable part of their care routine. "It has saved my health as a caregiver," Mark emphasized, highlighting how the lift has preserved his ability to continue caring for his wife.

They can now go out together without dread, maintaining their connection to the world beyond their home. For Mark, the lift represents more than just a mobility device: it's what allows him to continue being the loving, supportive husband he wants to be, without sacrificing his own wellbeing in the process.
