Pink Girl Lindsay Shines at NYFW Show with V53 Wheelchair

“ The VOCIC V53 power wheelchair was so nice having the wheelchair with me, it’s coming with me this weekend to NYFW as well”

Lindsay is a young woman with chronic illness who relies on a walker and wheelchair almost every day due to her condition, which includes dynamic disability. Her abilities and needs vary daily. She struggles with a range of health issues such as POTS, epilepsy, gastroparesis, and EDS.

A few months ago, Lindsay was rushed to the ICU again. Initially, without a fever, the chills and other strange symptoms left her family confused. But soon, Lindsay developed a high fever and began having multiple seizures. Her family called 911, and due to the severity of her condition, she had to be intubated.

Fortunately, a few days later, Lindsay woke up from the coma. Her throat was sore, her body exhausted, and she was still under constant EEG monitoring. But she knew she had made it through the hardest part.

Lindsay is also a YouTuber. Her videos cover topics like budget-friendly luxury living with a feminine touch, chronic illness, disability awareness, and LGBTQ+ issues. Lindsay is passionate about all things pink and describes herself as a "typical pink girl." She loves bows, pearls, and sparkles, with a bow and glitter tattoo on her wrist.

Despite her ongoing battle with chronic illness, Lindsay always presents herself with a smile. Her videos radiate vibrant, pink energy. Not long after her discharge, she posted a makeup video to feel refreshed and to say goodbye to her time in the ICU. She hopes to inspire others who are struggling, offering a message of positivity and resilience for those dealing with chronic illness or disability.

Lindsay has an adorable dog, Simon, and a cat, Luna. Spending time with them is one of the happiest parts of her life.

After experiencing the V53 power wheelchair, Lindsay couldn’t stop praising its smart features and portability. In November 2024, she and Simon drove the V53 to New York Fashion Week (NYFW), where Lindsay met many new friends facing similar challenges.

During the Christmas season, Lindsay teamed up with the VOCIC team for an Instagram giveaway, offering a V62 power wheelchair to one of her followers, a girl with chronic illness just like herself.
